I Love Monsterpalooza!

Stuart Gordon and the cast of Re-Animator the Musical (They will perform at the Hayworth this time around with George Wendt reprising his role as Dean Halsley) performed in the Glendale Ballroom at the Burbank Marriott Hotel and took Q+A capping off Day 2 of Monsterpalooza 2012.

Eliot Brodsky knows how to pack a day full of awesome guests, compelling programming, and gory monsters!

HALLOWEEN EPISODE

SUNDAY OCTOBER 30th, 2011

This day seemed a lot busier; I never saw the attendance numbers.

Definitely more people dressed as their favorite characters compared to Saturday.  A boisterous crowd rumbled into the halls early Sunday and I was pitching the premise of the comic and movie all day at my booth. 

BLACKSTAR CANYON artist Josh Alves got to meet Joe Weems and the staff of Aspen Comics after signing and discussing the BLACKSTAR comic for several hours.

At 1 pm: Kyle, Dan, Dusty, and Emilio of Stellar Corpses from Santa Carla,

I mean Santa Cruz, arrived.  Well rested after the previous nights

concert at the Grove with Tiger Army, the band was welcomed by the

onslaught of fans after the showrunners announced their guest appearance.

Several interviews later, the Corpses and I took pictures with Scream Queen Brenna aka "Cherrybomb".   (Thanks to KC and Hart Fisher, and Phil Lawrence,

Overall, very exhausting- but a terrific time spent for the Halloween Weekend promoting the movie and comic book prequel for BLACKSTAR CANYON!
